One of the reasons I was so excited to move into my new room in the new house is that it would give me a chance to reorganize all of my belonging again. This may sound pretty pathetic to some, but it's something I genuinely get pleasure out of. You may call it OCD, but I call it harmony. I'm guessing I'm not alone on this one. It just adds stress to your life when you're sleeping in an unruly room. I know it's easy to get that way when school or work reach its peak, but the putting away of things into their proper place brings a peace of mind. I think it may stem from the fact that it gives you a chance to leave your mind behind while putting your hands to work. Organizing the world around me also makes me feel like I have a little secret with the heavens that is exclusive to only me and human kind. Keeping things organized kind of goes again the law of entropy, which states (put simply) that the universe favours a state of chaos.
This morning I picked up a free agenda and year long calendar from the university and I cannot keep in my excitement for filling in all the impotent dates and such!

I personally think we could all use a little "Martha Stewart" in our lives. (I use this term synonymously with order/organization etc.).
