So I've never been one to like taking medications. In fact, as a young kid, I convinced myself that taking any sort of medication is bad because it would heighten your tolerance to the point where the medication would be ineffective when you really need it (in old age). There is some truth to this. However, now I realize that that might have been a little extreme. I just got my wisdom teeth out 2 days ago (hence the missed blog post) and I'm finding the pain medication to be quite handy. Because of it (and perhaps my low tolerance to any sort of medication in general), I was able to get back to school the next day! I'm not saying I'm 100% yet, but I'm certainly functional.
Plus, I'm liking all the extra attention I've been getting from my mom. It's hard to get sometimes in a blended family with 4 kids. I'm getting special meals and everything!

3 ways to describe this feeling:
Attention, recovery, high.
How we met:
As I mentioned earlier, I just got my wisdom teeth out 2 days ago. I think before that, the only other meds I've taken in the past 15 years have been some antibiotics for a cold I had a few years back. I'm not bragging, just expressing my gratefulness out loud.

Some people are a little surprised at how quickly I got back on my feet. I think if you have a will to get better from these sorts of things, you will. Feeling sorry doesn't help much. Doing some research does.
