Okay, so I'll admit this one is pretty odd and unconventional, but YouTube honestly makes me happy sometimes. It's not really the website itself, but some of the characters that put out their videos on YouTube. YouTube has something to offer for everyone (we had a priest over at our house and he said he learned how to perform a wedding ceremony off of YouTube). No matter how irrelevant what the YouTubers have to say may be sometimes, their charm and charisma compels you to watch things you may not even be interested in. It's convenient that the videos are so short because they can give you a break from your day without taking up too much time.
Sometimes I like to turn to YouTube when I'm feeling down, in need of company, or looking to shut off my brain for a bit.

3 words to describe this site: Contemporary, creation, charisma. How we met: I used to just watch the occasional YouTube video for information or to watch movie trailers and music videos, but I recently discovered YouTubers who make videos as their career. Some of my favourites are: Zoella, ThatcherJoe, Jim Chapman, Bethany Mota, Mazzi Maz, and Gigi Gorgeous... (the list goes on). |
I admire how these people are really "self-made" and they are so comfortable turning what they love into a career.
